What this is

Lost In Translation Radio is two things built together: a YouTube channel making annotated, line-by-line translations of Mandopop songs, and this reader — a place to actually read those translations word by word, with pinyin, HSK-leveled vocabulary, grammar patterns, and your own saved words and notes along the way.

Every translation on this site is done by hand, by me. No machine translation. No shortcuts. I aim for semantic precision over what might sound nice, preserving what a line actually says, even when that means the English reads a little less smoothly than a polished, singable version would.
